Welcome to The Good Shepherd Preschool. We are pleased that you have considered sending your child to our school. We are an independent center whose purpose is to provide quality learning opportunities based upon Christian principles. Attention will be given to each child’s strengths and needs. Our school promotes:

We provide a Christian-based curriculum which includes circle time, centers time, snack, outdoor play, and craft/activity opportunities. During center time, the children have the opportunity to make choices. Building a child’s self-esteem, developing good listening skills, respecting adults and their friends, and waiting patiently for a turn are all emphasized throughout the day’s activities. An afternoon Enrichment Program is available to enhance our daily program.
 

Our curriculum includes reading readiness skills (Zoo Phonics), beginning writing techniques (Handwriting Without Tears), and hands-on math and science experiences.

Children ages two – five are placed in a class based on their age, experience, individual needs, and availability.  Children with of all needs and abilities are welcome, loved, and supported.

Registration and Admission

• Before enrolling in our preschool, both parent and child are encouraged to visit and tour our program. 

       Call 829-3404 or e-mail thegspreschool@gmail.com to set            up an appointment. 

• Completion of our paperwork packet and a non-refundable registration fee of $100 places you on our waiting list.  Our waiting list is best fit versus simply first come first served.  

• A personalized schedule will be created for you based on your child’s needs, your family’s preferences, and the program’s availability. 

• Registration paperwork, immunizations, supplies and registration fee must be turned in before a child may start preschool.
